If you visited the Carter & Cavero stores on the afternoons of November 13th and 14th in Red Bank and Princeton, New Jersey, you were lucky enough to meet Carter, Mary Randolph Carter to be exact. She is not only the inspiration for the name of our company but also a best-selling lifestyle author and a long time creative director for Ralph Lauren. Carter, who recently publish her latest book, A Perfectly Kept House is the Sign of a Misspent Life, was hosting a book signing. Many adoring fans came to greet her and share the joy in taking home one of her books.
A special component in the days events included a donation from a percentage of the books sold that weekend to be given to local SPCA’s in honor of a chapter in the book dedicated to living with dogs.
